Great food at a wonderful price. The place has a great cigar area where you can indulge inside while watching the game. Yes, for all of you that don't like smoking and do the exaggerated had wave and say it stinks. It is completely separate from the main bar. They have a breakfast meal that is served all day.

My Neighbor's Pub is a good spot for some comfort food. A co-worker told me to check them out for the Wing Wednesday special, $1 wings. I'm all about chicken wings, so I had to investigate. Definitely a must see bargain. It wasn't just $1 wings, it was $1 ENTIRE WING SECTIONS. I ordered 8 tossed in the Sweet Chili sauce. Not as hot as I'm used to on sweet chili, but I threw on some Texas Pete to offset. Mia did a great job with the pace of meal and kept the conversation going with the 7 patrons at the bar top. Each day has great specials. Thursdays are $1 Tacos. The place is huge. I thought there was a mirror behind the bar, but it was actually an entire other room. Any day of the week is a great day too try My Neighbor's Pub.

I just moved down here and the staff arw amazing and the chicken wings are the best chicken wings! It has become my new favorite bar. Feels like home

Great Food Great Prices. We were looking for homemade fries and found this restaurant. They also had our favorite kind of fried pickles. They were both delicious and exactly what we were looking for. The staff was very nice helpful social and attentive. Thank you.

It's a bar style drinks with fair priced. I didn't like so much the smoking.Although they have a smoking section, I feel that the cigars smell travels through the area.

My Neighbors’ Pub has great food, great service and a great atmosphere. It’s the only place I will go to enjoy a night out. They have a pool tournament on Wednesday nights, trivia on Friday nights and Karaoke on Saturday nights. The daily food specials are great, my favorites are Barb’s breakfast all day Saturday and spaghetti all day Sunday. The ribeye sammy and patty melt on Friday nights is delicious. The bartenders get to know you and remember what you drink the next time you come in. The owners care about their business and do whatever they can to make sure everyone has a great time. This is by far the cleanest place I’ve been to in a long time.

UPDATE: I came back to try the bars $2 taco special (chicken or beef) on Thursday. I’ve changed my previous review because the bartender was absolutely lovely. Kind, smiled, and was super attentive. Beef and chicken tacos were AMAZING and for $2 they are definitely worth it. Great drink pours too! Previous post: I ordered 1 double crown with diet and ended up paying $23.43 (including a $3.57 tip). The bartender barely said a word to me, and the 2 gentlemen sitting next to me at the bar were HEAVILY coughing and not covering their mouths. Yeeshhhh $17.50 for 2 crowns is a bit steep for a smokey corner dive bar in Newport News. 🤷🏼‍♂️

It was my first time there, and I made a new friend. We exchanged numbers with each other, and hopefully I can meet them again at the bar. When you first walk in, it's quiet and peaceful with TV's on and music playing in the background.

I have been to many bars. I’ve seen posh luxury bars, I’ve seen grungy dive bars, and I’ve seen everything in between. However, this is an establishment I will always keep coming back to. It’s a bar that more places need to be like. The drinks are reasonably priced. I usually go in and get a Bush heavy to start things off. They have a good selection of domestic and craft beer. It’s big enough to where they’ll definitely have something you like but it’s not an overwhelming selection. The liquor selection is similar to the beer selection. They have some solid bottles in the well and you’ll find some really great bottles on the shelf. It’s a bar that any budget can drink at. The food is also phenomenal. I’ve had a fair amount of their menu since I’m a regular but my go to is an order of their Ribeye Steak Sammy served rare and with a side of onion petals. Then after a few hours of drinking thr cheese curds always seem to call my name. Of course, a bar is only as good as its staff and the staff here is amazing! I’ve never had a bad experience with the staff. They know my name and my usual. They are always great to talk to and they know how to create some great cocktails. They are a very well managed group and they all have great vibes. My Neighbors’ Pub also has a wide selection of events that happen throughout the week. They have poker, trivia, bingo, and they use to have Karaoke but I’m not sure if they still do. It’s always a blast and the family can come along until 9. This is genuinely my favorite bar and I love going to it. (Also, if you take request could y’all please add some PBR and Hennessy to your bar menu? Fully understand if you can’t!)

First time there tonight and I really liked it! It was quiet and not stupid packed, the music was loud enough to hear but not too loud to talk over, the food was decent (I got a well-done patty melt with tots), and my tab was very reasonable. My mixed drinks were a little on the weaker side, but I think most bartenders exercise caution with anyone they don't know... I just moved here from across the country so I will probably make this my new hangout spot!
